Tired..

Well I slept through rowing this morning... I guess that's what you get when you stay up almost all night the night before working on a project... Seriously, I must work on this whole procrastination thing...

We have a race this weekend in Victoria, I'm really excited to go... Although I think I'm rowing on my weaker side... oh well I'll do my best.

So I really want to try to write more, but life's been crazy with school... so many things to do... I didn't write about my concert last week, I went and saw Animal Liberation Orchestra (That kickass band that opened for Jack Johnson this summer, I wrote about them then)... They played at Richards on Richards, and wow, was it amazing. Foo Fighters was the best 'show' I've ever seen, but this was the best concert I've been to. These guys are amazing. Not only was the music incredible, but they came out afterwards and I got to talk to them for quite a while. They seem like really cool people, not at all egocentric or anything... totally down to earth. I got another one of their CD's and I honestly cannot stop listening to it.

Seeing them play inspired me to pick up the bass again... I hadn't played in a while due to the craziness of school, but talking to Steve the bassist of ALO inspired me to pick it up and play again. I didn't realize how much I missed it, I get lost playing it sometimes, time just flies by. I want to start up a band of some sort. I'm really enjoying funk/groove type music, it would be great to try something like that. I don't know if I mentioned it back in August, but I bought my dad a diggereedoo, and before I gave it to him I was playing with it and learned the basics of how to play it. Now I must get me one of those, I want that in my 'band concept'... I know Jason's friend has a couple and knows how to play it, maybe he'd be interested? haha Well, all I know is that I'm totally fired up for this, it's exciting.

Anyways, I'm super tired, but I am really going to try and update as much as possible from now on...(famous last words) haha
